• No, you will need a hub for each location. The hub is what sends all the IR commands, so if there is no hub where the equipment you want to control is, there is no control.

• I'm not sure what that means. If you want to control your TV from another room, then, yes. It will only control one set of remotes with IR where the main hub is. Unless your remote is a Harmony Touch, then it could work in the other room.
