“I have a 4 or 5 year old Harmony Hub system that only accepts 2.4Gig signal for the wi-fi. Are the new hubs only 2.4Gig also? My Xfinity (Comcast) does not allow this.”

Hello. The Harmony Hub uses low power 2.4GHz to communicate with your devices. Most smart home devices are also 2.4GHz and computers, cell phones, game systems and other things with more streaming capabilities are using the 5GHz band. You may be able to have the Comcast router send out signals in both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands. If its not possible on your router, you will need a dual-band wifi router or access point to communicate with the Hub and other smart home devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I picked another one of these up a couple weeks ago. It seemed to also only work with 2.4ghz. You might want to grab an access point that supports 5ghz and 2.4ghz and set that up on your existing network.
