“Difference and magnet there are two of these...one has a red tag lower left the other one has a black tag. What is the difference between the 2? Also are there magnets when it closes? I just looked at the store and the pink one clearly had magnets the black ones did not??? Odd”

Mine has a black tag. When the case closes, the iPad turns off. I believe there is a magnet in the corner of the case which shuts the iPad Air 2 off.

I believe that the black tag is a woven material finish while the red tag is a grippy smooth case. The keyboard and magnets are the same from what I have seen.

I purchased the black Air2 model with the black tag. It has magnets. It auto shuts off when closed. The two model cases are very similar but are not the same so make sure the ones you are looking at are Air2 models they all have magnets regardless of color.
