“Can I connect this to a stereo receiver using the RCA (red/white) when connecting to the BT adapter AND when connecting to the receiver? The directions show connecting RCA to receiver 3.5mm jack to BT adapter; Seems like RCA to RCA is better”

Yes. I used my RCA cables, plugged directly into the back of the box.

You can connect the RCA cables to the RCA outputs on the adapter and to the RCA inputs on your receiver. 2. You can connect a 3.5mm AUX cable from the adapter to a 3.5mm headphone jack on your receiver. Either options allows for connectivity
