It's female stereo RCA outputs but it will not connect to stereo RCA inputs.. The cable provided has two male RCA jacks on one end a smaller single male jack on the other. To connect it to a receiver/amp you have to use the male single jack in the "Auxiliary" output on the device and then put the two RCA stereo jacks in the appropriate inputs on your amp. There's also a picture that shows reversing the cord with the RCA male jacks going into the RCA stereo outputs on the device and then plugging the single make jack in what appears to be a speaker. I have no idea why you can't use a cable with male stereo RCA jacks on both ends to go from the devices stereo outputs to an amps stereo input but I tried it and it didn't work. Also the only instructions are a few pictures with no text. Maybe their web site would have more information.
