I haven't quite figured that one out myself. I purchased two Logitech bluetooth modules, for use with sound systems in different areas of my house. Once your source device pairs with the first module it sees both the module "name" and its unique code. When you try to pair it with a second module it sees the same "name" but the code doesn't match, so no handshake. My workaround was to pair my Android phone with system 1 and my laptop with system 2.

Once your source pairs with the first Logitech bluetooth module, it can't pair instead with a second one. It learns the first one through the initial handshake. If you try to pair it with a second Logitech module, your source device will see the same device "name" but not the same unique identity code it has learned, and won't connect.
