As long as the receiver has the white and red AV cable or auxiliary cable input than yeah this will work. This device will receive Bluetooth signal - no wires - and it will transmit output as aux or AV - needs wires.

It comes with a cord with a 3.5mm plug on one end and dual RCA L & R channel jacks on the other. I have it connected to an older Sony receiver via the Sony's CD RCA jack inputs with the 3.5mm plug connected to the AUX output on the bluetooth adapter. It paired immediately with my tablet upon pushing the button on top and works fine. If you have the CD input tied up you could use another line level input, probably labeled AUX or even Tape Input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Bluetooth receiver connects via RCA into a preamp in my stereo system. Lovely. I have a Bluetooth enabled PC and send from Spotify. Great sound. ITunes and other good sound sources are also available, for paid subscription. Saves on portable device battery life. That said, yes, should pair easily with the iPhone and iPad.
