“I recently moved into a house. On the patio I noticed outdoor speakers. In the family room there is an outlet for banana clips. I believe that goes to the speakers. No where is there a volume knob. Do I use this device to play music?”

If you get cables to convert from the banana clips to AV audio or auxiliary than you can plug into this device. If the speakers are at max volume than from the bluetooth audio streaming device that you're using you could adjust the volume

Please try again later.You can play with your cell phone,(or tablet ), connect your cell phone( or tablet) blue tooth with your adaptor, and hook up the audio cable included in the box (or use your own audio cable) to your speaker, and control the volume thru your cell or tablet.
