• He will not be able to communicate with his friends by this device. This device will enable a system that has auxiliary or AV input to then receive a bluetooth signal. If the smartphone has bluetooth, it should have no issue connecting, I use an iphone. He and any of his friends will then be able to find and pair with this device to send music to it, the device does not transmit or send signals wirelessly.
