This is a Bluetooth device. It will not connect to wifi devices unless it has Bluetooth also associated with it. So check whether the sound bar has Bluetooth. If it has, then it will connect.

This allows speakers to connect wirelessly to meda input, but that soundbar is already spec'd to wirelessly connect to it's own subwoof.. If you're trying to connect a different subwoof *Maybe* if this component is attached to the subwoof, but not sure how you would get the soundbar to bluetooth search for the subwoof... Safe bet would just be a No.
