Yes, I currently use it to control original Klipsch sb-1 sound bar which did not come equipped w/ built in Bluetooth. Newer Klipsch versions now has Bluetooth built in, device works GREAT!!! Just turn on Bluetooth on phone, select this device and done. Can now play all music on your iPhone 6 Plus (I use same phone, so know it's compatible)

It should - iPhone 6Plus is a standard Bluetooth 4.0 (IIRC). I've used it with Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 devices with no issues.

It works with my Iphone S4 and an Ipod touch and my Ipad air so I can't imagine that it wouldnt

They will work with any headphone plug Although you will probably not get 5.1 surround from a headphone plug
