Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can view it live many different ways… On any tv with a HDMI cable connected to the hard drive, or over WiFi on Amazon Firesticks or Firecube, or on smartphones with the Lorex app… I don’t think it will connect via WiFi to smart TVs without an appropriate app though. I love the system though! I have the hard drive connected to my wife’s tv in her office with the HDMI cable. She can view all the cameras at once, individually or multi views, watch recordings, make adjustments and so on. I use the app on my phone all the time to view the cameras live or watch the recodings whenever I get notifications. The cameras are great quality and they know the difference between people or cars and will notify you of which one was detected! They also have built in lights that can turn on with motion or via the app, built in two-way talk, sirens and more. Another feature I use is Alexa to “show me the front door camera” (or any camera) via my Fire Cube on my 75” living room tv :)
