You will have to purchase a new magicjack. Then call them and they will transfer your existing number over to your new device for free.

Absolutely. However the old device will be rendered unusable by the magic jack company. So you cannot use the old one as a back up.
If you buy a new device from a retail outlet you get to transfer the service from the old device plus get 12 months free added to your account.
