• The tripod's round quick-release plate uses a standard 1/4-inch screw thread, which fits almost all cameras. Unless yours uses an unusual thread, it will fit. Weight is another issue. This tripod is designed to support smartphones and lightweight cameras. Your camera body weighs about 2 pounds, and the weight of a lens will bring it up to or over the tripod's 3.3 pound capacity.
