- Answer The tripod's round quick-release plate uses a standard 1/4-inch screw thread, which fits almost all cameras. Unless yours uses an unusual thread, it will fit. Weight is another issue. This tripod is designed to support smartphones and lightweight cameras. Your camera body weighs about 2 pounds, and the weight of a lens will bring it up to or over the tripod's 3.3 pound capacity.

- Answer It depends which 290, most versions it will fit. The exception is the MK290LTA3-VUS it requires the 501PL plate.

- Answer The gimbal has a POC on the bottom where you can screw a tripod plate/screw into it. It seems standard for all tripods. If yours has the screw for the camera, you should be able to get that bad boy set up.
