• Momentarily, probably. But you'd want it in a dry place away from moisture to make sure the electronic components stay in good shape

• Hello, thank you for your question. The Acton II Bluetooth does need to be plugged in to operate. We do not recommend leaving the speaker outside for extended periods of time, but it can be used outdoors as long as the speaker is plugged in.
