• Yes. Mine usually wakes up without issue but every once in a while I need to do it from the app. It's not a big issue. I can't remember the last time I physically touched my speaker.

• Hello Matt, thanks for your question. Once in standby, you can wake the speakers up by touching any of the knobs or buttons on top of the speaker or by interacting with them through the app.
