“How does the soak cycle work? I needed to fill with water and then add bleach and soak the white clothes for awhile before completing the wash. The water kept running out of the washer after only a few minutes.”

• Must be a way to soak something for longer than 10 min !!!!! Why would you make a washer that can’t soak ??

• If you are referring to the Maytag he 565 specifically, there is no option for a soak other than their soak option which only lasts 10 minutes.

• Peg, can you clarify how long the soak cycle lasted? The cycle does drain out the water after the soak cycle has completed.
