Be sure to select one of the multiple choices for setting each knob. Try the least tme consuming settngs. I do Normal. 1 Rinse for instance. Follow the method for loading your laundry and detergents. I admit I lose track of the time for a single load because it finishes quietly... my old washer had a moisy buzzer when a load finished. My new top loading Maytag just stops... no buzzing sound.
