Hi. For us, a 'normal' load is nearly 2hrs. Insane! But if you google the "why" it's due to how little water it uses so it washes much longer. The new energy efficient dishwashers are the same. Our Whirlpool just took a digger so i installed a Maytag... and good grief... now a load of dishes take 2 plus hours. LOL. anyhow... i guess that's life telling us to slow down. (OK, sorry)... back to your question... ours takes about 2hrs. on the normal cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don, "when you select a cycle, its default settings will light up and the Estimated Time Remaining will be displayed. Factors such as load size, wash temperature, and water pressure may affect the time shown in the display. Tightly packing, unbalanced loads, or excessive suds may cause the washer to lengthen the cycle time as well." Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
