• Adding vinegar to the final rinse will get rid of the remaining soap. Works every time.

• You are either using too much detergent or selecting the wrong cycle. Front load washers need less water and less detergent than a top load.

• I read that using HE (High Efficiency) detergent is a must for front loaders.
