“Is the soap supposed to leak down immediately after putting it into the dispenser? The dispenser does not hold the soap until you start the wash. It drips down as soon as you put it in. Is this normal or defective?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. This is a normal function. You can start the load and then pull out the soap drawer and pour the soap in as the water is beginning to fill the machine.
