All front loading washer doors must be left open after the cycle so that they can dry out. I haven't had a mildew smell issue, but I can see how it could become a problem. I do try to wipe the extra moisture from around the rubber door gasket. There is a lot of water left in the soap dispenser drawer after the cycle is finished also. I'm not sure why...but have read that it is a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This machine is better than most but there is still the need to follow the cleaning instructions, mainly dry the front door gasket, remove the soap dispenser and dry both the dispenser and the inside where the dispenser goes at the end of your wash for the day, then leave the door open, all of which takes about 2 minutes to complete.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had that problem with my Samsung washer but this one has a refresh feature that keeps air moving. I've had zero issues with smell or mold
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Product recommends leaving door open after using so it can dry out to avoid that from happening.
