• Use the Downy ball to automatically release fabric softener at the correct time. If you're not familiar with what the Downy Ball is, you can look it up on the internet. A lot of people use it and like it. Other options: 1. Press the Pause button, then add softener to the rinse water. 2. Tide makes a Pod that includes Downy fabric softener. 3. Use dryer sheets instead of liquid fabric softener.
