Yes. This washer “senses” the load (unlocked) and before starting, it locks. When the door is opened during the sensing process...the control panel lights up & flashes...the load will not begin until the start button is pushed again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This Maytag Washer senses the load then locks before each & every cycle. If the lid is opened before locking occurs...the lights on the control panel flash until it is restarted, even if the lid is closed again.
