“I just went from a front loader to this Maytag top loader. Works fine, but I wouldn’t say mine is quiet like the reviews I’m reading. The agitator makes a noise almost like a copy machine noise when agitating. Can anyone relate?”

Absolutely, they are loud. I just bought this Maytag pair a month ago, compared to my last set that was only 7 years old- it's quiet. But not really quiet, just quieter than my last.
