A:AnswerSound is heard though speakers on the headset near the ears. You do NOT need to buy headphones. It is bluetooth capable with some devices, but spotty with some as well. You can project to a TV via Google Chromecast or use a link cable (sold separately).
A:AnswerNo, they don’t have face masks!! Oculus calls them a “removable foam facial interface” or face cushion or face gasket. The foam ones on Quest 2 were giving a few people skin irritation. So Oculus recalled all store stock to repackage them with new silicone facial interface, and offer free replacement to existing customers. Looks like they’ll be released again Aug 31st, 2021.
