“Looks like it is still using one LCD panel for both eyes. Does that mean the IPD range remain the same? I unfortunately have and IPD of 74 :(”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe that Meta has made improvements in the area of IPD range and control, but I am not sure what those improvements are. I would say wait until there are some reviews on YouTube after launch and get your answer from there.

I would recommend if you already mainly use pc vr and have a big enough budget and base stations to look at another option, one not offered by Best Buy called “big screen beyond”. The “beyond” by big screen is a completely custom vr headset that’s perfect for the person who ordered it, and cannot be used by others unless their ipd is close enough to your custom made headset ipd. They also make prescription lens inserts so you don’t need to wear glasses or contacts, and it’s one of the lightest and most compact and comfortable pc vr headsets ever made to date. Imagine a headset so light that you forget it exists while wearing it, that’s the level of immersion you get with the big screen beyond headset. It’s small enough to be pocketed when the USB-C cable and head strap are detached.
