Controllers use AA batteries, and the headset is rechargeable for up to 2 hours of play per charge.  There is an Elite headstrap that includes another battery pack for even longer view time.

The Meta Quest 3 comes with the charging cable and power adaptor which you can use to charge your headset whereas the controllers come with non-rechargeable AA batteries.

You can get the elite strap with battery for more comfort and an additional 2 hours of headset usage.
