• I used this with an Alpine ilx-F509, which has a yellow/blue wire labelled parking brake in its manual. Connecting the yellow wire to the my Alpine's yellow/blue did not work (kept setup screen greyed out). Connecting it to the green wire of the Axxess module made the receiver work properly. The yellow wire is connected only on Alpine units with the specifically labelled foot brake wire.
