“My amp cuts out when I first start out or I am down shifting into turns etc. I was told that it was due to my power being regulated to other areas and not enough power to the amp. Is this true and would this item fix that issue?”

I would adjust the gain it sound like you have to much input power. Wich if thats the case then it won't matter how muchpower it gets. Power supply shortage causes it to heat up after it plays for a while which the over heating causes it to shut down .
