A:AnswerHello Charlie. I'm not sure if this will fit your vehicle or not. I used my harness on a 2005 Ford Explorer so if the radios are the same I would think you wouldn't have any issues. The best way to find out would be to go to Best Buy and talk with one of their Audio Techs to see if this would be a good fit for you. The harness covers several Ford Models just not sure if this is the right one for you.

A:AnswerYou can buy just the basic radio harness, but the subwoofer will not work.
If you choose to add the subwoofer later, you will have to buy the whole harness, as the subwoofer wire connector is not usually sold separately.
(Note, it's possible to wire the subwoofer connection to an RCA jack, but you would have to cut the factory wiring.)
A:AnswerI had this unit installed in my 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty and it was a great upgrade and it seems like it would work in a Ford Ranger. Best Buy did the installation for me and they would be the experts to consult.
