Not all is lost as Blue tooth works with windows 10 on laptops. A Insignia receiver is available if you loose the one that comes with the mouse. The latest version of the mouse does not even come with a receiver.

I have one Bluetooth nano-receiver, and I have successfully paired four different Bluetooth keyboards to it. My question is, WHY don't they build a small storage compartment into the keyboard body to STORE the small USB receiver when nit in use?!?
