• There is an option in the task bar to select the keyboard on the touch screen. When you click in a typing space, it might not always appear, so you would have to tap the little icon in the bottom right hand corner for it to appear. I have both a pen and a keyboard for the ease of use, however.

• Surface Go 2 does come with a pop-up keyboard that can be used on the touchscreen.
