Does it needs to connected to a computer? null

No. It has wifi and Bluetooth connectivity built in, and this is a completely stand alone computer. If you have another computer, you can put your files in the cloud and access them with the Surface Pro and do what ever work you need to do.

Nop, it is like a laptop very powerfull and have a lot of super features. The only thing i nos from my past Huawei Matebook is the back-lit keyboard.
