Yes, game saves and other information saved to the cloud on your Xbox Live account will automatically transfer over to your new Xbox Series X. You can also connect an external hard drive to Xbox Series X and play any games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S directly from it. Please note that games enhanced for Xbox Series X/S must be installed and played from the console's internal SSD.
