Thank you for asking! While the port on the headset is USB-C, the cable is USB-C to USB-A so that you can connect it to your Xbox console. This is the same method for connecting Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and new Xbox wireless controllers to Xbox Series X/S.

I got this one Microsoft... On the behalf of the counsel... MOST USB-C Charging cords work like Type-C to USB 2.0 Male Charger.. therefore your 2.0 USB slot on your Series X will be able to support this..
