“Can you connect the cable to your home cable distribution system. I no longer have cable TV so it's not in use and rooms in my house that have TVs have a coax outlet which are all connected in a panel in my basement where the cable TV entered.”

It's not going to do what you want. I highly recommend you look at the Tablo 4 tuner! That will send the signal to all you other televisions.

If you are using existing cable from your prior cable setup, then you will want to remove all accessories from the previous setup before installing the antenna.
