• In order to charge with the wireless charger you need a wireless charging case. For the regular AirPods it is the upgraded case. For the AirPods Pro is the the normal case.

• No, you have to have the wireless charging case in order to use the wireless charger. The unit does not come with a place to plug in a charging cable either.
