buyer518, thank you very much for your answer. I have been communicating with Mitch, a Motorola agent. He suggested starting the phone in "Safe Mode" which means 3rd party applications are not loaded. The speaker function seemed to work much better. I'm guessing the problem might be having AVG which I loaded. The anti-virus program admits to draining battery faster and I believe it also has the capability of temporarily interrupting something like a phone call for brief periods due to monitoring activity. The original problem I reported has been reported multiple times on the Reddit form about this phone...I believe indeed it is a 3rd party program interfering with the phone usage so I have now uninstalled AVG and will continue to monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had that problem, but I have noticed the calls seem to go out when I answer the call and choose speakerphone. I initially thought it was a provider issue but maybe it is an issue with the speakerphone.
