Empowering Performance and Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had the opportunity to use the Motorola Moto G Power 2021 phone, and I must say, it has left quite an impression on me. This device excels in several aspects that make it a noteworthy contender in the mid-range smartphone market. First and foremost, the battery life of the Moto G Power 2021 is truly impressive. The 5000mAh battery consistently lasted me well over a day of heavy usage, alleviating the constant need to search for a charger. This is a significant advantage for individuals who rely heavily on their phones throughout the day. The device's performance is commendable as well. Powered by a Snapdragon processor, I found that apps opened swiftly and multitasking was relatively smooth. While it might not be the most powerful chipset on the market, it certainly holds its own in its price range. One of the standout features of the Moto G Power 2021 is its camera setup. The triple-lens system captures detailed and vibrant photos in various lighting conditions. The dedicated macro lens was a pleasant surprise, allowing for impressive close-up shots. While not on par with flagship cameras, the camera system is more than adequate for everyday photography and social media sharing. The display, while not OLED, offers vibrant colors and good sunlight visibility. It's a 1080p panel that's crisp and enjoyable for media consumption and general usage. On the downside, the design of the phone is rather plain and lacks the premium feel that some higher-end devices offer. Additionally, the absence of NFC might disappoint users who rely on contactless payments. In terms of software, the nearly stock Android experience is a definite plus. Motorola's commitment to providing a clean interface and timely updates is evident. The device runs on Android with minor additions that enhance the user experience without overwhelming it. In conclusion, the Motorola Moto G Power 2021 is an impressive mid-range phone that excels in crucial areas like battery life, performance, and camera capabilities. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of flagship devices, it offers fantastic value for its price point. If you're looking for a reliable phone with great battery longevity and solid performance, the Moto G Power 2021 is certainly worth considering.

excellent buy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not owned a high end smart phone in several years so the reader must take that into consideration. First, this phone is better in every way than a high end phone of ten years ago. Second, the battery life is outstanding. Third, the voice quality is very good. Fourth, the screen is clear and large. Fifth, coverage through TMobile is excellent. Sixth, settings are easily manipulated. OTOH: I use the camera as an afterthought. My adult daughter uses her high end Apple phone's camera quite seriously. It is obvious that her camera and her technique are much better than mine. But I have no technique. My wife, using this phone, gets better photos than I. I am attaching a photo of the Austin skyline taken yesterday from south Austin. Conclusion - this was a great buy for me, and would be for most people.

Moto Power Great Job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only used this phone for a few weeks and so far it does exactly what I purchased it for "POWER". The battery last a little longer than my flagship Hauwei Mate 9 and Samsung Note 9 phones. I was skeptic about the size of the phone so to having a larger battery, but trust me it not bad at all especially with a phone case cover. The Camera is decent and the phone runs rather smooth. I purchased this phone to replace my daughter's galaxy S6 and the only complaint she have is that the screen is bigger than her small galaxy S6. I recommend this phone to a parent looking to get a phone for a kid or a person who travels a lot and don't want to spend a ton. You will be very pleased.

Awesome phone for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good phone with sharp photo resolution and big screen that displays everything in HD. The battery is phenomenal. A full battery lasts me up to 3 days without charging. The only downfall aboyt it is that it doesn't have wireless pay capability.

Great phone and value!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid phone and takes pretty good pictures. I got a Spigen tough armor case on and love it! The battery life here is also amazing. I was looking at this phone vs Blu and One Plus. Glad I went this direction and it's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for an android phone in this price range.

Powerhouse, with superb battery life
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace my previous flagship device earlier in the year and ended up getting a good deal on a Motorola Ace 5G (2021) and this was my first experience with Motorola since I had a bright pink Moto Razr V3i back in the day. I was so taken by how well built the phone was, and how stable it was that I decided to buy my wife a G-Stylus (2021) and she felt the same way about hers. Given both positive experiences, I decided to give my parents back home overseas an upgrade for their aging devices and so I bought two of these G-Powers (2021). I did the basic setup before shipping the devices, and they set up their customizations and preferences. My mom is in her 50's and my dad in his 60's, they both had no trouble whatsoever getting their devices the way they liked them. They both reported to me they much prefer their newer devices over their old ones, and both had stand out features. For my mom, she works 6 days a week. She is a carer both residential, and also hired out by different care homes across the county. As such, she'll often do 24 hour work days with sleep in on site, so battery life is imperative. This device definitely performs, and leaves her old flagship device standing wondering what happened. For my dad, his favourite part of the phone is the screen. It's bright, vibrant and large. It's built to a great quality. He also enjoys how fast the device is. I bought these devices unlocked without activation, both activated and worked correctly with UK cell provider (3UK) on 5G.

Q: QuestionI have AT&T and need to upgrade my Samsung SGH-A847 do to them eliminating the 3 G network / can I purchase a Moto G Power in store and have my current phone info transferred and walk away with a working phone without any contact with AT&T ? Thanks , MD
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, that is what I did. Best Buy sells the G Power phones as unlocked phones and they do the activation with AT&T and the contacts, pictures, and data transfers at no extra cost and without changing your current AT&T plan. Depending on what SIM card you have on the current phone, you may have to pay Best Buy for a new SIM card ($8). Some Best Buys have better technicians than others, so before you buy, ask them if they have someone on duty that has done this before and that can do the complete turnover without messing up (it happened to me so I had to go to a second Best Buy store to complete the job!)

Q: QuestionWill the Moto g power 2021 work with Verizon prepaid service?
Asked by Jason.
- A:Answer Yes it will work with Verizon's network but VoLTE and wi-fi calling will not work so you need to have a decent cell connection where you are at. When I switched phones I stopped getting voice calls or they would barely go through because it was using CDMA analog signal to try to get it to my phone. The only way to enable the VoLTE (Which means the voice traffic goes over the network and not analog signals that are barely used anymore) you have to convert your prepaid account into a post paid one. I had prepaid for many years and they switched me over without a credit check or anything. I was on the unlimited plan which the post paid account was probably about $5 for the same service (I picked the cheapest unlimited plan they have). I think if you have a lot of trouble with voice calls you're going to either have to go post paid or return the phone and get something else directly from Verizon. Verizon does not allow wi-fi calling on unlocked phones. You have to buy the phone from them (a few Apple units work though) there is no other choice to get wifi calling. My mom has the extact same phone as I do but we got hers from Verizon and she has wi-fi calling and I can't enable it, Just company policy. There is a work around. Open a Google voice account and you can install the app on your phone and it will allow you to text and call through the internet and also from any device you can log into. I use it and forward my main cell number to it for the free transcripted visual voicemails. It would be a different number and when you leave your wifi zone you'll need to call them back on your regular cell. I'd say if you manage to get 2 out of 5 bars for 4 G in your house you wont have any trouble and won't have to do this. It's only if you don't get a cell signal inside the house. Those are the two major issues with voice over the internet and using an unlocked phone. Verizon should absolutely drop both policies most of our unlocked phones are totally capable of wi-fi calling. I have a decent signal at home so I luckily don't need it. You can also rent an extention which plugs into your network and expands the 4G throughout the house. I like using Google Voice. I had to learn all this the hard way as Verizon and Motorola had no idea why VoLTE wasnt working on my phone. the answer was simply it was because I was on a prepaid account. I figured it out by putting my sisters sim card in my phone and she is post paid and my VoLTE options showed up and it worked like normal. When I pointed this out to Verizon they admitted they don't allow VoLTE on prepaid accounts. We tried to activate it many different ways and it wouldn't work. Only switching my account to a post paid one made it start immediately working, Since you can't get the power 2021 at Verizon it will not support wi-fi calling at all. I might pick up a 2021 Stylus and it will have the same issue.
