Yes, that is what I did. Best Buy sells the G Power phones as unlocked phones and they do the activation with AT&T and the contacts, pictures, and data transfers at no extra cost and without changing your current AT&T plan. Depending on what SIM card you have on the current phone, you may have to pay Best Buy for a new SIM card ($8). Some Best Buys have better technicians than others, so before you buy, ask them if they have someone on duty that has done this before and that can do the complete turnover without messing up (it happened to me so I had to go to a second Best Buy store to complete the job!)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I too have AT&T. My Samsung phone broke. I purchased the Moto G Power and just put my old Sim card in the new phone as well as my memory card. The phone did transfer my old info from the memory card without contacting AT&T.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Thanks for your interest. The device is compatible with AT&T, therefore there is no problem inserting your current SIM card to this phone, unless you have contract or in a plan with your carrier. For other carrier concerns, we suggest your carrier for more information. -Jess
