Apps can be transferred to the SD card but but first the developer settings must be activated in order to achieve that and then you can override the system so that you can use the SD card for transferring apps to it. I don't recommend doing so because most apps don't let you force install on the SD card .

Moto G Power 5G 2024, apps cannot be installed directly to the SD card, as applications are designed to run from the phone’s internal storage for performance and security reasons. The SD card can be used to store photos, videos, music, and other personal files, and some apps may allow limited data to be moved, but the main app itself must remain on internal storage.
