• Don't know. I had to call MetroPCS to have mine activated. Should work with any carrier that has a sim card.

• As per the BestBuy website that lists the specifications for this phone, yes Tracphone is listed. Carrier Compatibility Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, TRACFONE, Net10, Simple Mobile, H2O Wireless
