I got mine with my current service for the $179, you will have to sign into your Verizon account and assign it to an upgrade eligible phone. Mine came with a new sim card and I had to contact Verizon to get the phone activated.(I did this through chat) PS. I really like the phone so far(bigger faster and gets better service than my old Samsung S5)
