All the mods connect pretty much the same way, they are designed to "snap on". You can buy a protective case for the phone when you're not using any of the mods, but it will have to come off when using them.

Yes there'll be a problem with a protective case because the 360 Camera is a second back cover to your phone but with the camera at the top. So when you want to use the 360, you must take off the regular back cover to your phone and use the 360 and then remove later. Also due to the camera being at the top of the phone, it is not convenient carrying the phone around with it.

You’d have to take the case off to use the mod. It snaps onto the back of the phone.

Can not use with case magnetically attached to back of phone and connector pins would not connect through a case. Battery and wireless charging mods somewhat seem like a case.

Thanks for reaching out. Once you have the 360 mod, all you need to do is to attach it at the back of the phone and make sure that it fits correctly. It's okay to have a protective case on the device but if you wanted to use it with a mod, you need to remove the case cause it covers the gold magnet that connects the mod to the phone.
