I ordered my Razr+ through Best Buy online, mostly because I wanted the Best Buy trade-in value for my RAZR 2020 5G, and I needed time to transfer the old phone's contents to the new. I got the new phone at home the next day, no problems, with 10 days to send in the old phone. Best Buy in store told me that they had underestimated the demand for the Razr+. In short, I wouldn't necessarily blame Motorola for the short supply in store, though the opinion of one salesperson isn't conclusive either. What the sales reps WERE telling me is that they sell the Razr+ phone as fast as they come in.
