“Is it possible to add a hard drive to this? or is there a model that has a built in hard drive along with the ssd? or would i just have to purchase an external hard drive”

An additional M.2 SSD can be added to the laptop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does have a second SSD slot and memory slot. You would want a M.2 2280 SSD. I found a 2TB one for $200. But fair warning you need to do serious surgery to your laptop to install it ie. you have to pull the motherboard. There are tutorials on youtube or you can have a qualified tech install your upgrades for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just swapped the M.2 NVMe from my old GS63VR. There are two M.2 slots in the GS65 (vs a single M.2 and additional 2.5" SATA slot in the GS63VR).
