This isn't meant to be a gaming laptop, it is designed with creative production in mind (I.E., video and photo editing). There is a 1080p version of this specific laptop, but it is not available at Best Buy. If you go the the MSI Prestige website and go to the configurations tab, it will show you the websites the 1080p variant is available from. https://us.msi.com/Content-Creation/Prestige-15-A10X
