• It’s a pretty good size, maybe a little bigger than a crockpot. Depends on the type of meal, but I’d say yes.

• I think an 8 qt would work better for you. One thought at this pice $40 you could buy two which gives you the option to cook two different types of food. Or hold out for an 8 qt. instapot.
